A school is the densest wireless environment most IT teams ever face. Thirty students in a room, each with a tablet, plus a teacher’s laptop, a projector and a door reader — and that repeats every forty minutes as the whole building moves between periods. Where we work
We are not a single-city provider. Can you survey during term time? Yes, and where possible we prefer it — the noise, bodies and device load are part of the measurement. Exam halls need coverage that is identical in every seat.
Our 1:1 programme is rolling out next year. Is a survey worth doing now? That is the right moment. Predictive design before the network is bought prevents the expensive version after the complaints start. We survey around the school day where we can.
Do you cover outdoor and sports areas? Yes. Fields, courts, playgrounds and sports halls are usually where coverage expectations and reality diverge. Staff, students, and their devices compete for the same airtime.
Can you work around exam periods? Yes. We plan intrusive work around your academic calendar, including holidays where that suits you.
