Looking for Managed IT services in Hong Kong? NETK5 has been the IT department behind international companies in China since 2002. Our 40+ bilingual engineers deliver Managed IT services in Hong Kong in English, Chinese and Cantonese, working to ITIL processes with written SLAs, the standard your head office expects, delivered on the ground in China.
Most China offices discover the gap the same way: a global provider with nobody local, a local vendor with nobody who speaks English, and a head office that cannot tell which of the two is failing. We sit in that gap. A China-based team, answering to international standards.

Written SLAs, agreed per contract, with response and resolution targets by priority and escalation paths to named engineers rather than a queue. Our support team answer in English and Chinese.
Service level targets for tickets logged with the NETK5 helpdesk.
| Target | Commitment |
|---|---|
| First response | 1 working hour |
| Resolution | 48 working hours |
| Working hours | Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (China Standard Time, GMT+8) |
| Excluded from the clock | Weekends and PRC public holidays |
| Response target is met when | An engineer takes ownership of the ticket |
| Resolution target is met when | The ticket is resolved |
| Applied to | All tickets logged with the NETK5 helpdesk under the Standard NETK5 SLA |
| Priority tiers | None — the same targets apply at every priority at this service level |
Contract-specific service levels, such as extended-hours maintenance agreements, may override these figures — your contract takes precedence.
We are not a single-city provider. NETK5 dispatches engineers across mainland China: our own team is based in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, and we staff projects elsewhere in the country as clients need them — Xi’an, Chengdu, Suzhou, Taixing and beyond. Outside China we have delivered rack-and-stack work and WiFi surveys in Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan, usually for international companies coordinating several sites from a head office that has never been on site.
For Managed IT services in Hong Kong that matters in practice: work can be planned around a visit rather than a relocation, and the team that does the work hands over documentation the head office can actually use.
Since 2002 we have supported clients including Nestlé, Microsoft, JLL, McKinsey, Pfizer, Siemens and Supreme NYC, from single-office deployments to multi-city rollouts. We cover service desk for multinational teams. We also look after De Beers boutiques in Xi’an SKP, Beijing SKP and Hong Kong — surveys, network work and day-to-day support for retail sites where the network is effectively the till.
Most engagements are priced per user per month, with onsite visits, projects and hardware billed separately. What moves the number: how many users, how many sites in hong kong, whether your systems sit in China or abroad, and how much of the work is reactive rather than planned.
Can you support an office in hong kong when our head office is in Europe or the US? Yes. Documentation, reporting and escalation in English, aligned to your Hong Kong working hours. Most of the estates we look after run Windows clients.
Do you replace our global IT provider? No. Most clients keep their global standards and use us as the local hands that enforce them.
How quickly can you take over? Depending on your current structure, we could be up and running within a week. Support is delivered on site, remotely, or both.
Do you support Chinese-only staff? Yes. Our engineers work in English, Chinese and Cantonese.
Can you help with ICP registration and data residency? Yes. That is part of deciding where your systems live in the first place.
Tell us about your hong kong office: headcount, the systems you rely on, and where the pain is. We will review what you have and come back with a written plan. No sales pitch — practical advice from engineers who have run IT in China since 2002.
